Anxiety Awareness

I am a Nurse, Frontliner for Covid-19, and a Stress Management Coach.

Kathy Parlevliet, the nurse who knows. Attempting to allow the space to adjust feelings about Covid.  The sad truth is that we don’t believe it is over, however people are done.  The healthcare industry has been scarred by the tremendous impact of the Pandemic.  We are moving forward into a new unknown.  Finding it uncomfortable and a sense of anxiety that cannot be denied.

What are your feelings regarding Covid -19 now?  How can you find a way to accept anxiety as part of your recovery?  When is the time to start talking about what has happened to you?

Noticing that everyone is trying to move forward.  Most are grateful that the worst is behind us and that the vaccine will protect us.  A sense of less masks and more fresh air, is a possibility.  But we all don’t know what is next for the world. Recognizing the excitement about our quarantine experience behind us, and hopefully a future with less Covid.  It is difficult to explain how you are feeling. Being a healthcare provider, the moments are still fresh.  We dare not speak about another surge.

Should we be able to accept and adapt so easily?  Seeing that Covid-19 isn’t gone, just less.  This is an undeniable relief.  However, not being judged for your awareness is difficult and different for everyone.

If you are struggling with how to acknowledge your feelings. I am here for you.  Allowing you opportunity to move forward and gain clarity.

Let’s Talk Soon,

Kath
